The Tasmanian Greens must declare which, if any, of the nearly 20 proposed irrigation developments they support following their failure to support a small and relatively uncontroversial proposal in Parliament last week.

The Headquarters Road Dam is merely a pond in relative terms and will inundate a handful of exotic pine trees but provide for up to 30 jobs.

The Tasmanian Greens can no longer rub shoulders with the agricultural community pretending to be interested in irrigation developments.

The Tasmanian Greens must come clean as to just what they might support and under what circumstances.

The Tasmanian Liberals are firmly behind all the current water development proposals on the books and are actively working in a positive way to making them a reality.
